Rural Health Essay Scholarship Contest

Contest open to students from
member families

High school and college students from Virginia Farm Bureau member families who are interested in health-related careers in rural areas have until March 31 to enter Virginia Farm Bureau Federation's 2010 Rural Health Essay Scholarship Contest.

Participants are required to submit an essay on “My Future Career in Rural Health in Virginia,” along with a resume.

Essays submitted by high school students and college students will be judged separately. The winner in each division will receive $1,000.

Winning essays will be chosen from entries by students planning to work in health-related fields, including specialized areas of veterinary medicine that have an impact on human health and wellness.

Essays must be at least 400 words in length and typed. Click here for an entry form.
